That actually was a really, really nice stor...Wow,<br /><br />That actually was a really, really nice story. Not only are you a Grade-A sucker, a very good writer, but you are also a saint!<br /><br />Sadly I don’t think I’d have been as generous. Oh, I’d probably have given him a couple bucks just to get him out, but I’m far more jaded toward people asking for money to ‘get home.’ It happens all the time in my city. Even my elderly mother has been accosted by young, pregnant girls asking for a couple bucks to buy a meal, but after she offers to go and buy them lunch, they suddenly don’t want to eat – what they REALLY need is $10-15 to buy a 'ticket home.'<br /><br />But anyway, it sounds like this was a true story of hard luck and a guy in need – in more ways than one, and you handled both admirably.
